Worldwide Ward Cookbooks!

My favorite one so far

I really love the Worldwide Ward Cookbooks! They are amazing and so fun. I love seeing and trying new recipes from around the world. I have found so many fun and easy recipes in the books. So far my favorite is Mom's Best, but I use recipes out of all 3 that I currently have. The blog is great as well. There are recipes and giveaways on it regularly. Florida

So I guess I'll make another go at this blog thing. haha. This month we went to Florida and had a great time. I got to see my Uncle Genaro and Cousin Wendy, which I haven't seen in about 7 years. It was so good to see them, and for Danny to meet them. I miss them already. We had a fun time on the beach and shopping. We went on a fun riverboat cruise through Ft. Lauderdale where we got to see many famous people's houses. I didn't really recognize any of the names, but Danny did and could tell you who they were. They also had a delicious all-you-can-eat dinner with BBQ chicken and ribs, baked beans, shrimp, coleslaw and rolls. It was to die for.

On the flight to Florida we went over a thunderstorm.. Talk about scary. I was asleep and woke up to what felt like a rollercoaster. Don't get me wrong...rollercoasters are fun, but when it's an airplane that is supposed to stay steady...not so fun. I was freaking out, but luckily I had Danny there...even though he was laughing at me...and the flight back was calm. I really loved the heat and sunshine. Ever since we got home it's been cloudy and rainy! I'm ready for sunshine and warmth. The cold is so overrated. :)

Summer...ish

So I decided I should probably update my blog. haha. This summer has been so busy with work and such because I'm student teaching in the fall. I graduate in December and I'm super excited!

In April, we went to Disneyland and it was so much fun. I have never been due to the fact that my dad doesn't like crowds so he didn't want to take us on vacations that would have lots of people there.

We just got back from a river rafting trip down the Snake River. 5 trips down the river in 2 days will definately NOT kill you...even if you fly out of the boat and take people out with you. I do have a thousand bruises as proof. It was fun to go on a vacation with friends, instead of just family. Now I'm looking forward to a girl's weekend in St. George coming up in the next couple weeks!!!
